My Style by Color Journey

In the late 1970s, I became a business owner in a male-dominated industry. I learned that to be taken seriously, I had to “dress for success.” I was introduced to the principles of best colors and makeup and loved looking my best.

In 2020, I was facing retirement and a permanent relocation from the midwest to Florida. Even with my years of experience I could not believe how dissatisfied I had become with my color and wardrobe choices. Because of menopause, my hair had turned gray and my body had changed. What had worked for me in the past wasn’t working as well anymore. I was feeling invisible.

Around this time, a good friend introduced me to Shari Braendel and Style by Color. It was life changing. Style by Color helped me learn to love myself again.

I now have a calling to convey this knowledge to others. I have embraced the ideals of this organization and earned multiple certifications with Style by Color. I am an Ambassador with the Women Matter Initiative with its goal of providing Color Confidence Workshops for Women Healing from Crisis and Distress. I’m also a member of Style by Color’s The Hub, providing advanced professional development in style and color. 

It will be my joy to help you find that unique beautiful person God created you to be.
